After months of dedication and hard work, the Potlotek Education Office finally revealed the project that they had been working on…regalia for the children of the community.

The project began in the fall of 2011 when Elders Frank and Josie Augustine began working with the community. The project was part and parcel of a larger initiative that introduced children, youth and adults to ceremonies and traditional teachings. As part of these teachings, each community member who was interested received their spirit names and their sacred colours.
