The newest travel centre in eastern Canada opened last month in one of our own Mi’kmaw communities.
The Bayside Travel Centre, a $13.5 million complex built on the reserve at Exit 36-B on Highway #104, will serve regional customers along with tourists and the Atlantic corridor long-haul trucking industry. The turnoff is about 23 kilometres east of Antigonish.
