The Exploits Native Women’s Association (ENWA) dedicated the Community Room at the Qalipu Building in Grand Falls-Windsor on Friday, June 21st. In memory of Bernadette (Bernie) Hanlon. This dedication was a vision by Marie Eastman and along with members of ENWA hosted an unveiling of a plaque (donated by Qalipu) and picture to honour a women who help keep our culture alive. It was attended by members of Bernie Hanlon’s family who help unveil the plaque and picture.

The rest of the day was an open house sponsored by ENWA with hot dogs and drinks and a National Indigenous Peoples Day cake.
