The Atlantic Policy Congress of First Nations Chiefs Secretariat (APCFNC) hosted its very first Clean Energy Conference for Atlantic First Nations in Fredericton, New Brunswick from February 25th – 27th, 2019. Certain Indigenous communities in the Atlantic and Eastern Québec have already developed renewable energy and energy efficiency projects. These communities are keen to engage in powerful opportunities and partnerships that provide economic and environmental benefit, as well as share information that could help other First Nation communities kickstart their own projects.
