On Friday, April 24th, Ms. Helena Sack and Ms. Elle Michael, both Educational
Assistants here at LSK, decided to host a food bank donation day. Only the staff was encouraged to participate, and with the support from the Administration, and in lieu of casual day money, non-­perishable items were accepted.

In my effort to help these wonderful ladies, and to help out such a worthy cause, I sort of challenged my co-­workers to meet or beat my donations by posting photos and listing the items that I purchased. A few co-­workers, especially one in particular, took the challenge to heart and beat me. It was wonderful! We collected enough food to fill up the bed of a truck. Mr. and Mrs. Hamilton (Ryan and Shannon), parent volunteers for the Indian Brook Food Bank were so very grateful for our donations. Mrs. Hamilton couldn’t say “thank you” enough.
So, on behalf of LSK, I want to thank everyone for his or her generous donations. Your donation, large or small, was truly appreciated. b
