The Millbrook We’kopekitk Pageant is all about celebrating our amazing youth! What makes our pageant special is our dedication to providing cultural learning opportunities for the young participants. It’s a commitment of just a month and a half, during which the youth get to dive into some really fun activities—like learning to bead earrings, create beautiful ribbon skirts, and craft wooden flowers. They also master the art of pageant walking and absorb sacred teachings from a water walker, all while discovering more about ceremony and tradition.
