Atlantic Policy Congress of First Nations Chiefs Secretariat (APCFNC) is pleased to welcome Marie-Angélique Granomort as our new health intern. Marie-Angélique is currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Indigenous Social Work program with Laurentian University. She is completing her third-year practicum with APCFNC.
Marie-Angélique was born in France and spent a part of her life in the country of her birth. Her parents are originally from the French Caribbean Island of Guadeloupe where she has also spent a few years. Her interest in history and First Nations, started when I found out that there were Aboriginals peoples on the Island of Guadeloupe.
Having immigrated to New-Brunswick eleven years ago, her interest in Indigenous history, their traditions and resilience grew.
