What is at the forefront today is the impacts we are seeing to roads and infrastructure due to extreme weather or climate change.
Expressed interest from your community with a band council resolution, get in touch with ARALA indicating interest and who the contact representative will be and the board will go through a review process for acceptance. ARALA’s values of self-determination, land preservation, mutual support, and professionalism are featured in the plan as well as the desire to increase membership for the organization. “We are seeing a growing interest in sharing best practices and First Nations communities helping each other to find efficiencies across the board, added Ward-Osmond.”
The complete strategic plan can be found at www.arala.ca – copies of the pocket plan are also available on request.
