As the COVID-19 pandemic continues, here is some information regarding Membertou’s operations at this time:

Membertou is currently working with an essential-services only model and has drastically reduced the number of businesses and facilities that are open in the community.

What Is Open During Covid-19 In Membertou:

  • The Membertou Market remains open for essentials and fuel (regulated precautions are taking place, including physical distancing, increased sanitation, and barriers between staff/customers for safety).
  • The Membertou Wellness Home remains open Mon-Fri, 9am-12pm and has made adjustments to services. They will operate on an appointment-only system during this time. Anyone experiencing symptoms related to the coronavirus must call 811 for assessment.
  • The Membertou Band Office is operating with limited hours: Membertou Social Department is open, Monday-Friday 9am-12pm. Membertou Human Resources is open Monday-Friday 1:30pm-4:30pm. All staff who are able to work from home, are doing so.
  • The Membertou Tobacco Shop will be open Monday, Wednesday, Friday, noon-5pm.

All other Membertou businesses and facilities are closed until further notice, with some essential exceptions as necessary.
