Elder teachings in Maya Centre.

Every other year Saint Francis Xavier University offers their Masters students a service teaching opportunity which takes place in Maya Center, Belize. We (Sheri Julian-Brooks and Angela Maloney) are enrolled in the Masters program and decided to participate in this unique learning experience as part of our Masters program. We both teach at our community school L’nu Sipuk Kina’muokuomin in Sipeknekatik First Nation in the elementary level.
