The Indigenous Student Centre invites new Indigenous students to join us for an exciting week of orientation. We have a variety of cultural and educational events planned for the first week (starting September 1), such as canoeing, teepee raising, ceremony, and information on academic, health and financial supports. Please consider joining us by registering early (some have space limitations), through our website (click on the banner) at www.dal.ca/isc
The Dalhousie Indigenous Student centre is here to help create a sense of belonging for Indigenous students at Dalhousie and to provide a variety of supports. We are located on Studley campus, on the corner of University and Edward, on the first floor of the big blue house. We offer one-on-one advising, math and writing tutors, smudging and other traditional activities, scholarship and bursary information, we have a computer lab and printing, a student lounge, full kitchen with tea, coffee, snacks and monthly feasts and a great backyard.
When on campus please drop in and meet the staff and other Indigenous students.
