DORA Construction Ltd. will be the contractor for the construction of the new PLFN school to be built on the site of the present ball fields. An official ground-breaking ceremony was held this past Wednesday, October 31st. DORA will be moving equipment onto the site early next week to begin the civil work which involves preparation of the site for the building including excavation for footings, site access, parking, and services (water and sewer).

The school will be about 33,000 square feet in size on one level. It will house the Early Childhood Education (Head Start/Day Care) programs and up to grade 8 Middle School program.
