The Women’s Place Resource Center and Bear River First Nation were honoured to celebrate Chief Carol Dee Potter of Bear River First Nation on Oct 30, at the former Bear River First Nation Cultural Center. Many people gathered for this special occasion and honoured Chief Carol Dee Potter for her accomplishments and the impact she is making in her community by strengthening the communication and respect between Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples.
