For the Board of Directors of the Nova Scotia Indigenous Tourism Enterprise Network (NSITEN) it has been a one year journey to finally signing a much anticipated three year MOU & funding agreement with the Indigenous Tourism Association of Canada (ITAC).

This MOU signing agreement will become reality on August 7th when representatives of the two organizations will come together in Halifax in front of many supporters from industry, government and community. There is much anticipation for a collective vision on how Indigenous tourism initiatives will help cultural resurgence, entrepreneurial development and industry participation in the coming years.
