It’s a parent’s worst nightmare when you find out that your child is sick, and that’s exactly what happened to John and Juanita Marr of Indian Brook First Nation when they found out recently that their son Andrew had leukemia. He hadn’t been feeling well so his parents took him to get checked out, never in their wildest dreams did they think they would be told that he has leukemia.
Andrew who is 24 years old is a fun loving person who absolutely loves the Montreal Canadians, he also has down syndrome but that doesn’t keep him from doing things, Andrew works at the Indian Brook Gas Bar as a cleaner and he also graduated high school from L’nu Sipuk Kina’muokuom (LSK).
