On March 29, 2016 the Eskasoni Girls Figure Skating Program made a historic first when they held their very first figure skating recital at the Dan K. Stevens Memorial Arena in Eskasoni.
It was their very own version of, Stars on Ice with a “Grease” theme. Forty-seven little girls range in age from 4 to 14yrs put on a beautiful performance in front of a capacity crowd. It was just another dream realized for the community of Eskasoni.
