Membertou, the first indigenous government in the world to earn ISO certification has recently recorded another set of firsts, twice. In two events, one week apart, representatives from two national boards visited Membertou for some very special announcements.
On Thursday, October 29, Chief Terry Paul accepted the Financial Management Systems (FMS) certification from Harold Calla, Executive Chair of First Nations Financial Management Board (FNFMB). Calla was joined by fellow board members of the Vancouver-based organization.
