It usually takes more than one person to get a story right, especially when the subjects of that story live in communities that might feel misrepresented in mainstream media coverage.
Thanks to Rose Julian, (Paqtnkek Mi’kmaw Nation’s economic development officer), producer Richard Perry and the online storytelling tool Cowbird, they were able to collaborate with community members to start telling personal stories to the world. The result: the Paqtnkek Community Storytelling Project.
