I hope everyone enjoyed his or her holidays. December was very busy for us here at LSK, especially for me. We hosted our annual Scholastic Book Fair. We earned $2,215.91, which gave us $1,107.49 in product commission. Thank you to the community of Indian Brook for their continued support. It is much appreciated.

Continuing with the book fair, this year was a bit different for us. I did not keep our entire product commission here in the library, nor did I donate any to our classroom libraries. Instead, we (LSK) made a donation to Ms. Lyn Sack’s Preschool Library and to one of her students who had to spend some time in the hospital. We hope our donation made his stay in the hospital a bit easier.
