After two years of playing lacrosse, thirteen year old Connor Dennis of Indian Brook First Nation, has been chosen to represent Nova Scotia during the Canadian Lacrosse Championships in Winnipeg, Manitoba (August 2nd to 8th). Connor currently plays for Sackville Wolves. The Nova Scotia Bantam Provincial Lacrosse team consists of 18 players. Out of the 18, Connor is the only Mi’kmaw player on his team.
Proud parents, George and Ginger Dennis, will be accompanying their son on his journey.
