In celebration of Mi’kmaq History Month
NSCC Pictou Campus made history on Wednesday, October 24th when they hosted its first ever mini-mawio’mi. As a way of promoting and celebrating October Mi’kmaq History Month, the campus was very open with the idea of hosting a mini-mawio’mi. Chasity Lucio, the Coordinator of Aboriginal Student Services for the NSCC Truro & Pictou Campuses has been organizing events such as this for many years, and will be hosting the 6th Annual NSCC Truro Campus Mawio’mi in January.
