The official christening of the new Eskasoni Fishing Vessel, the “Charlie Joe Dennis,” was an event fit for a Chief. In this occasion the admiration is just as strong for Charlie Joe Dennis a former Chief of Eskasoni.

Over 200 community members, family and friend celebrated with Charlie as the community held a seafood festival in the parking area of the Crane Cove Seafood’s building on August 26, 2012.
