Millbrook’s Community Members gathered at the Sacred Heart Church to pray and celebrate for St. Anne’s Day. Since the early 1630’s, the Mi’kmaq people have embraced St. Anne as their Patron Saint. St. Anne was the Mother of the Virgin Mary and Grandmother of Jesus. In the Mi’kmaq Culture, Elders are highly valued for their wealth of knowledge. After the St. Anne service at the church, Millbrook provided a community feast and children’s activities at the Community Hall.
